Product Empties

Hi Everyone!

For the past few months I've been trying real hard to finish up all of the products I have before purchasing new ones. So I thought this would be the perfect time to do a few quick reviews on some of the products I've used up so far!

(Please bare with me on the pictures, I didn't have the usual camera with me (my lovely sister's) hopefully they'll be better for the next post *fingers crossed!*)
Marrakesh Hair Oil
I've been using this stuff for years!  I like to apply it right before I blow-dry my hair and then sometimes again once I'm done styling to add a shine. It smells amazing, makes my hair feel so healthy and soft I love it!
Would I repurchase it again? Not right now just because I'm currently trying out a cheaper alternative but I would definitely recommend it!
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum
I got this in a Glossy Box a few months back and didn't really get around to trying it until now, I was actually super impressed! I put this on my ends right after blowdrying it and it makes a huge difference.
Would I repurchase it again? Yep I would!
Make Up Forever Smokey Lash Mascara
This is just a little sample size but it lasted me quite a while. When I first started using this I fell in love, if you're a fan of thick dramatic lashes then this is one mascara you'll have to try. The only down fall I have with this is that it started to get clumpy and dry out quickly but that could just be because of the small sample size.
Would I repurchase it again? Definitely!
Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Masque
LOVE this masque. I have a full review HERE
This product has literally saved my hair, I use it twice a week and it just makes my hair feel so healthy and soft.
Would I repurchase it again? Yep already have!
GOT2B Guardian Angel Heat Protectant I didn't love this product but I didn't hate it either. Not too much to say about this product, it seemed to do the trick! I personally prefer the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray and it's a little cheaper too!
Would I repurchase it again? Probably not

So that's it for my empties! I'm sure I'll have some more soon with my whole spending ban going on until march, I'm using up everything!

Review: Macadamia Deep Repair Masque

Hey Everyone!

So lately my hair has been the most damaged it has ever been. Right after dying it from blonde to dark brown it just looked so fried, the fact that I apply so much heat to it probably doesn't help! So I went on a serious hunt for a really good deep conditioner I tried ones from brands like aussie, joico, and matrix. This one from Macadamia seemed to be the one that I noticed the biggest difference from.

It has a very think consistency and it feels like butter when you rub it into your hair. They recommend you leave it on for 7 minutes and then rinse and repeat this 2-3 time a week (I use it twice a week). After blow drying my hair it felt so soft and healthy, it was crazy. My split ends weren't as noticeable and it left such a nice shine without weighing down my hair.

On top of all that it smells amazing and comes a fairly big size tub that will last you a good few months. If you're interested in another great Macadamia product here is a review on their healing hair oil which I love!

Review: Macadamia Healing Oil Hair Treatment

Hi Everyone!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Today I wanted to share with you guys one of my must have products, especially lately after dying my hair so much!

This oil has seriously been a life saver for my hair. Right now my hair is the most damaged it has ever been because I was blonde for a while and now back to brunette. I put a quarter size amount in my damp hair after showering and it automatically feels smoother and more healthy. If my hair is feeling extra dry that day I will sometimes put a little bit more in after styling it.

What Macadamia Hair says about this product:
Our Healing Oil Treatment is a therapeutic hair oil perfect for all hair types and is especially beneficial to dry, damaged hair.
  • Intense nourishment for tangle & frizz free hair
  • Hair that is ultra-smooth, manageable & shiny
  • Natural UV protection extends the life of color treatments
  • Reduced drying time by an amazing 40-50%
I really do agree with what they say about this product. It makes my damaged hair look healthy and shinny, and it just feels so much better. Since purchasing this product not a single day has went by where I don't put this in my hair. This bottle has lasted me many months and I'm not even half way through it. So for $40.00 I think this is definitely worth the price. If you're interested you can purchase it from their website HERE or pick it up at most beauty salons, I got mine from my local Trade Secrets.

Have you ever tried this product or any of the Macadamia products?
