October Glossybox!

I can't even wrap my head around the fact that October is over and Christmas is in 44 days! It's my favourite time of year and I can not wait for snow,christmas music, gift shopping, and candy cane ice cream(it's delicious)

I finally got around to opening my Glossybox that came in a week ago, I've been beyond busy with school! This is unfortunately my last box and I'm so sad because I really enjoyed getting this little surprise every month, but Glossybox Canada recently up'd their price in Canada from $15 to $21 and I just couldn't justify the price for what comes in the box. Anyway, here is what I received this month!

Jouviance rejuvenating anti-aging cream: 50ml $93.50
"formulated to hydrate and increase the firmness of your skin"
This sounds like a nice product, for the price of the full-size bottle it better be!

Model Co Flipstick lip duo(Full Size): $38.75
"Shine ultra lip gloss can be worn alone or layered over lipstick lip couture for hours of unbeatable shine in a shade of perfect October pink"
This looks like a great product but I'm not a huge fan of the lipstick shade, I'll probably end up giving this away to someone.

Sabastian Trilliance Shampoo & Conditioner: 250ml $15.79 & $16.79

"Cleanses and polishes the hair surface to enable greater light refection,creating gorgeous natural shine"

Sabastian's shampoos and conditioners are some of my favourites so I'm always excited when they come in my Glossybox!I'll be trying these out ASAP

Zoya nail polish in "Rory" (Full Size): 15ml $8.00
I love Zoya nail polishes, they have a great formula but I was super disappointed with the color I got in my box.  

Gillette Venus(Full Size): $16.99
"Venus and Olay: Boost your shave and help lock-in skin's moisture with the top-of-the-line in disposable razors"
You can always use razors! I was really happy that this came in this months box, I'm excited to try it out!

September Glossybox Canada!

I'm so SO excited to share this months Glossybox with you guys. It's for sure one of the best boxes I've ever received from a beauty box service! There were so many things that caught my eye when I first opened the box...A NYX palette was the product that got me the most excited. So lets just get right into it...

Dove Cleartone- 45g $3.99 This claims to reduce any underarm discolouration caused by dry skin. This is a different product, I've never really had a problem with dry skin but I'm interested to see if i'll notice a difference. Either way this is a great travel size product to keep in your purse!
Wella Mirror Polish Shine Serum- 40ml $16.99(FULL SIZE!) Polish and smoothen any style with a high-gloss finish. I'm a huge fan of Wella products and I was actually in the need of a shine serum so this is perfect! I've tried it a few times and I really like it. You have to use it very sparingly because it does easily weigh down your hair but if your careful it's a great product!
B.Kamins Lip Balm(Canadian Brand!)- 15g $21.00 A soothing anti-aging lip balm with Bio-Maple. 
B.Kamins Maple Body Lotion(Canadian Brand!)- 180ml $41.00 A luxurious anti-aging lotion infused with honey, Vitamins A&E and Bio-Maple.
NYX: The Crimson Amulet Collection. Limited Edition- $25.00 (FULL SIZE!) Inspired by the movie Dark Shadows. Eyeshadows, eye liner, blush, highlighter, eye primer, and lip gloss

If you don't know what Glossybox is, It's a monthly subscription service where you can receive 5 products (deluxe samples and some full size) right to your doorstep for $15 a month. It's a really great brand and it is by far the best beauty box service i've tried so far!

August Glossybox Canada

I finally received my Glossybox in the mail today, I feel like I keep getting it later and later every month! I think I just have bad luck with the post office... Anyway! Before I show you what came in this months box I just want to say how excited I am to finally have a blog design that I am so very happy with! I keep going back to my page just to look at it lol! A big thanks to Yours Truly Designs, she's great!  Alright so here is what came in my Glossybox this month....

Sebastian Potion 9 Lite  150ml/ $20.95: Conditions,restores, and enhances manageable styling I'm a big fan of Sebastian products so I was excited when I saw this in the box. I'm going to be trying this ASAP

Biore Make-up Removing Wipes  10ct/$3.99: Lifts away make-up without leaving a greasy  residue These sounds great and I love the size they came in, this is great to leave in your purse!

Kryolan For Glossybox  Full Size: Professional beauty lipstick for soft lips, long lasting color This goes on very smooth and feels really nice on the lips. It does have a strong almost plastic scent to it that I'm not a huge fan of.

Layla Smalto "Bijou" 4.5ml/$11.99: A nail polish for those who love to have fun and be daring with colour I've never heard of this brand before but I'm always up for trying new polishes. The colour I got is a metallic dark purple, great for the fall!

Befine Fine Food Skin Care: samples from the best in fine foods.Exfoliating cleanser,gentle cleanser,night cream,pore refining scrub treatment and warming clay mask. Really excited to try all of these samples!

July Glossybox Canada!

Hi Everyone!

I'm so excited to say that my Glossybox finally came in the mail! After religiously logging onto the Canada Post website to track my package it finally made it's way to my mailbox! Let me just say that it was worth the wait! Here's what came in my July box...

Inside the box

Dove Softening Creme Body Wash(Full Size!) 200ml/ $5.99

I'm always so excited to see a full size product because it really makes me feel like I am truly getting my moneys worth. I really enjoy Dove products and my skin has been a little on the dry side lately so I'm excited to give this a shot.

Alessandro International Heel Reduce Balm   100ml/$19.95
This sounds like an interesting product to try. It says it "protects and nourishes your skin with shea butter, allantoin and tea-tree-oil". I've never tried a product like this but it seems like a great thing to use in the summer months to keep your feet soft and beautiful! 

Eucerin Calming Creme     200g/$12.00This is a daily moisturizer that says it "prevents the reoccurrence of itchiness and reduces the risk of further irritation due to dryness". This will definitely come in handy when the winter months come around. My legs and elbows always get so dry so I will for sure be reaching for this in the winter.

BeautySoClean Sanitizer Wipes    48 pack wipes/$12.50
I'm so so excited to try these! You can use these to clean off the tips of your lipsticks, lip glosses,  and mascara wands. Sounds like an amazing product to me. I'll be using these on my mascara wands if they get clumpy or if I need to use them on another person. Its a great way to sanitize them!

John Frieda Frizz-ease Xtra Strength Serum(Full Size!)    50ml/$14.99
I've been colouring my hair a lot lately and it's been feeling a little on the dry side, as well as frizzy. I'll be trying this product ASAP because I'm always looking for a product to make my hair look it's best! Plus it's a full size which is AMAZING! 

Zoya Nail Polish in "Carly" (Full Size!)  0.5oz/ $8.00
Another full size product! I always love when they put nail polish in the boxes as I am a huge nail polish collector! Zoya has one of my favourite formula's, I find it just lasts so long on my nails without chipping. I'm not the biggest fan of this colour, I don't really like the glitter in it but I know I can find someone who will love this!

So this is what I got in my box this month! I'm very happy with it, especially because I received THREE full size products. I got way more than my moneys worth with this months box! I have to say that I've tried Glymm and Luxe boxes as well but I found that it was such a hit or miss that it just wasn't worth the money, where as Glossybox hasn't let me down yet!

Glossybox Canada- June 2012!

Hi everyone!

So my Glossybox finally came in the mail! This is probably the only negative thing I have to say about Glossybox is that they ship their boxes on one of the very last days of the month, but not a huge deal. This is my second box I have received from them and I have to say I'm super impressed! I've also tried Glymm and Luxe box and Glossybox blows both of them out of the water(so far), even thought glossy is a few dollars more($15 per month) you definitely get your moneys worth.

Venus Embrace Razor(Full Size) 1 kit/ $13.43
Super happy about this one, you can never have enough razors and Venus is my fav brand!

Wella Ocean Spiritz(Full Size) 150ml/$16.99
I've tried Wella's hairspray before and really loved it so i'm excited to try this out. This seems like a great product for the summer! Spray it in damp hair, twist into a low bun and dry fully with a diffuser, take out clips and you'll have beautiful carefree beach hair

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen 88ml/$15.99
This claims to be super light and fast-absorbing, sounds perfect to me! I've been trying to get into the habit of wearing sunscreen on my face everyday so I'll give this a shot!

Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser(Full Size) 130g/$9.99
I'm not really a huge fan of trying out new cleansers because I have sensitive skin but maybe once I'm all out of my current cleanser I'll try this out. I like the whole "warming" idea, I've never tried a cleanser that warms before. Have you guys ever tried this cleanser before?

Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Revolution Complex 50ml/$30.99
claims to smooth the look of fine lines. I'm not to interested in this product so I might give it away to someone.

Cover Girl Flipstick Lipstick(Full Size) 3.8gr/$12.50
I've really wanted to try these, I always take a look at them when I past by them in a store. SO not impressed with the color I ended up with, and apparently pretty much everyone got this shade. I was going to do swatches but I didn't want to open it in case I can find someone who I can give this to. One shade is a dark brown/red-ish color and the other side is a metallic gold shade. Personally I can't pull this look off so I'm kind of disappointed that I don't get to try this out.

Biore Deep Cleaning Pore Strips(1 strip) 8set/$8.99
I've tried these before and really loved them, they do the job!

Overall I was really impressed and I'm counting down the days until my July box comes in the mail!

Glossybox

Last December I cancelled my Luxe and Glymm box subscriptions I had because I just felt like I wasn’t getting my money’s worth. They were always such a hit or miss.
 Recently I caved after hearing so many great reviews on Glossy box and I signed up for their monthly membership. I received my May box a few weeks ago and l was more than surprised when I opened it.I definitely got more that I paid for ($15 a month).
Now I’m just counting down the days until I get my next one! I’ll post some pictures this time.


Fingers crossed that this month is just as great or even better than last!
